Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Birthday (2006)
Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings was born August 8, 1896. Each year her birthday is celebrated by a party sponsored by the Friends of the MKR Farm, Inc., at the Cross Creek Farm (Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park). The 2006 birthday celebration of Marjorie's birthday was held in the barn on a fine summer day.
