Mark your calendar for January 11th from 1 to 3 p.m. to hear Literary Manuscripts Archivist for the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida, Florence Turcotte, as she talks about her book, Marge & Julia, The Correspondence Between Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings and Julia Scribner Bigham.

Marge and Julia includes never-before-published letters between Rawlings and Julia Scribner Bigham, the daughter of MKR's publisher, Charles Scribner III. The 211 letters in the book share Rawlings and Bigham's perspectives on everything from relationships, motherhood and mental health to politics, art and literature.

The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the MKR Historic State Park, 18700 S. CR 325, Cross Creek, FL. The event is free with a small park entrance fee. For more information call 352-466-3672.
